ASSP Professional Development Conference – SAFETY 2020

August 18, 2020 – JCL Safety Services recently attended the 2020 American Society of Safety Professionals Professional Development Conference in June. We attend this conference annually to network with safety professionals from around the world, update on current events, and learn new things. This was the first time the conference was held virtually and it was a great success.

JCL Safety Services to Provide COVID-19 Screening Services

April 15, 2020 – JCL Safety Services to provide COVID-19 services that proactively assist employers as part of OSHA’s General Duty Clause in “providing a safe workplace that is free of recognized hazards”. JCL also provides technically-trained screeners at the entrance to businesses where employees are Thermo Temperature Screened and asked key questions regarding their current physical condition to determine if they may be positive for COVID-19. JCL Risk Services and JCL Safety Services to Exhibit at Upcoming Conferences

April 17, 2019 – JCL will be exhibiting at the following conferences this year.

  • 2019 AFPM National Occupational & Process Safety Conference Conference in Dallas Texas in this April 23-25, 2019.  AFPM stands for American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers.
  • 32nd Annual Environmental, Health and Safety Seminar & Industry Tradeshow.  The annual EHS Seminar is coordinated by the Texas Chemical Council (TCC) and Association of Chemical Industry of Texas (ACIT) in collaboration with theLouisiana Chemical Association (LCA) and the Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance (LCIA) and provides a great opportunity to enhance our regulatory knowledge, learn from best practices, network with industry peers, and hear from experts.
  • 2019 VPPPA National Symposium.  VPPPA stands for Voluntary Protection Programs Participants Association.

JCL Safety Services Welcomes Travis Timmons

September 21, 2018 – As  a result of our continued growth and success,  we are pleased to welcome Travis Timmons to JCL Safety Services.  Travis has joined JCL as Operations Manager and will be responsible for field operations.

Travis comes to JCL from Holly Frontier Refining where has led safety initiatives for both the El Dorado Kansas Refinery and most recently the Tulsa Oklahoma Refinery.  Travis is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology.  He also holds a Graduate Safety Practitioner certificate from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and brings expertise in refining safety with experience in Turnaround Safety, Radiation Safety, High Angle Rescue and Hazardous Materials.
