JCL Safety Services Welcomes Travis Timmons

September 21, 2018 – As  a result of our continued growth and success,  we are pleased to welcome Travis Timmons to JCL Safety Services.  Travis has joined JCL as Operations Manager and will be responsible for field operations.

Travis comes to JCL from Holly Frontier Refining where has led safety initiatives for both the El Dorado Kansas Refinery and most recently the Tulsa Oklahoma Refinery.  Travis is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology.  He also holds a Graduate Safety Practitioner certificate from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and brings expertise in refining safety with experience in Turnaround Safety, Radiation Safety, High Angle Rescue and Hazardous Materials.

JCL Conducts Leadership Training

August 3, 2018 – JCL Safety Services recently brought its leadership team members from around the country to Houston to participate in and afternoon of teambuilding and leadership training.  We had a great time at the Houston Escape Room to put our team skills to the test.  Afterward the team met for leadership training based on Mark Eaton’s book, the Four Commitments of a Winning Team.

JCL to Exhibit at Upcoming Conferences

August 3, 2018 – JCL Risk Services and JCL Safety Services is will be exhibiting at the 2018 AFPM Cat Cracker Conference in Houston Texas this August.  AFPM stands for American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers.

JCL will be in Nashville Tennessee in late August to exhibit at the 2018 VPPPA National Symposium.  VPPPA stands for Voluntary Protection Programs Participants Association.  We look forward to these conferences annually!  They are a great way to stay in front of our clients, understand their needs and stay current with the latest trends in the field of safety as it pertains to our industry.

JCL Safety Services Awarded Phillips 66 Project

September 25, 2017 Linden, NJ – JCL Safety Services has been awarded a major contract with Phillips 66 at their Bayway Refinery in Linden, NJ. “Excellent performance and our reputation for quality helped us win this important work,” Jim Lefler, JCL Safety Services, President & CEO said. We have developed experience in the Northeastern United States that has resulted in other awards with new customers in the area.
